Privacy Notice
This notice explains what information extraseat collects through this website, why we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you.

This Privacy Notice applies to extraseat.ai, our event and workshop pages, booking pages, and related communications (the “Site”). It does not govern information we process solely on behalf of an extraseat customer under a separate agreement.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and business information, such as your name, email address, company, website, role, and company size.
- RSVP and booking information, such as the event you select, scheduling details, attendance status, and referral source.
- Responses and communications, including free-text descriptions of your work, questions, and messages you send us.
Please do not submit passwords, financial account information, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through free-text fields.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device information, user agent, and approximate location derived from an IP address.
- Pages viewed, links and buttons selected, referring page, timestamps, and interactions with the Site.
- Campaign and referral data, including UTM parameters and advertising identifiers such as Meta browser and click identifiers.
- Cookie, local-storage, and similar identifiers used to remember privacy choices and understand visits.
Information from other sources
We may receive booking details from Cal.com, campaign and referral information from advertising or referral partners, and information you make available when communicating with us through another service.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, process RSVPs, schedule meetings, send confirmations and reminders, and provide requested services.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and our services.
- Understand how people interact with the Site, evaluate campaigns, and show or measure content and advertising.
- Maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
- With your direction or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected.
How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes above:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel and Cloudflare host and deliver parts of the Site, store RSVP records, and support email delivery.
- Analytics: PostHog and Vercel Analytics help us understand Site usage and performance.
- Advertising: Meta receives event, device, browser, campaign, and, for RSVP conversion matching, hashed contact information. Meta may use information under its own privacy terms.
- Scheduling: Cal.com processes information when you use our booking page.
- Professional and legal recipients: advisers, auditors, insurers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or complete a business transaction.
These providers may process information in the United States and other locations. Their practices are governed by their own terms and privacy notices, including those of Cloudflare, Vercel, PostHog, Meta, and Cal.com.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember choices and understand how you interact with the Site. Optional analytics and advertising technologies operate unless you opt out. Select Opt out in the banner or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page at any time. An opt-out applies to future activity on that browser and cannot retract information already disclosed.
We recognize Global Privacy Control signals as requests to opt out of sale or sharing. Because there is no uniform standard for other “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them. Blocking cookies or browser storage may affect Site functions and prevent us from remembering your choice.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, manage events and business relationships, analyze and secure the Site, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by the type of information and purpose. We may keep deidentified or aggregated information where it can no longer reasonably identify you.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
California privacy disclosures
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information; receive information about collection and disclosure; opt out of sale or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights. These rights apply only when the relevant law applies and may be subject to exceptions.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures to advertising and analytics providers may be considered “selling” or “sharing” under California law, even when no money changes hands. You may opt out through our privacy-choice page. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Exercising your rights
Email hello@extraseat.ai with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and match our records. An authorized agent may submit a request, but we may require proof of authorization and verification directly from you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Rights in other U.S. states
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable thresholds and exceptions, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of it; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling; and appeal a denied request. Submit a request or appeal by emailing hello@extraseat.ai. We will explain our decision and any further appeal options required by applicable law.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised notice here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law.
